CHANEL Coco Noir body cream review
12:30:00
Hey cuties, how are you today? First of all I want to apologise for not posting so much recently. I had exams coming up so I studied most of the time plus my twentieth birthday was recently. In todays post I am going to review Coco Noir body cream by CHANEL that I got in Paris. If you want to see everything that I got from CHANEL ,and my experience check out my experience at CHANEL post.
And before I start I want to say something. Yes I buy expensive stuff. I don't buy expensive stuff all the time, but I save my money for things that I like. I have makeup and clothing that cost 10 dollars or less, and I have stuff that cost 100 dollars plus. I am not one of those persons that is looking everything through money or clothing that's ridiculous, so I wanted to clear that up before I start.
So I got this cream at Galeries Lafayette in Paris at CHANEL counter. price of the body cream at CHANEL counter is 77 euros. In Sephora is 81,90 in Buy Paris I believe it was around 50 something euros. If you want to get this body cream definitely buy it in Duty free because it s cheaper, and you save money. But if you want CHANEL experience go to CHANEL store or counter. If you decided to go to Sephora you better have Sephora card otherwise why would you pay more? Don t get me wrong I love Sephora so much ,and its not like much expensive it's just few euros but if you want to save definitely go to CHANEL.
Now let's talk about packaging. When I first saw this packaging I was like wow. It so classic black and gold like perfection. I thought container is made of plastic, but actually is made of glass, and its so heavy like really really heavy. probably almost 700 grams close to 1 kg. If you travel by plane hmmm definitely buy it at the airport because this is heavy, and if you are shopaholic like me you always end up with 5 kg plus, and you have to pay extra kilos.
And I almost forgot it comes in the black and gold CHANEL box.
Ofc it all comes down to smell. If you love strong overpowering smells Coco Noir is definitely best choice for you. Coco Noir is my favourite scent from CHANEL. Ofc its night time perfume, but I wear it during day sometimes. This body cream smells exactly like perfume its strong like very very strong you don t need to put it too much, and believe me you don t need perfume over this creme . I like to put t before I go to bed, because when I wake up I want to smell good, and I do, because this cream lasts 12 hours plus. I put it in before bed I get up shower, and I can still smell it.
This is how it looks inside
It's not like body butter it's more on the lotion side. Doesn't have that butter texture like Victoria's secret body butters for body shop, and its easy to apply you don't have to rub it too hard like other boy butters. One more great thing when you shave your legs, and when you apply body butter or cream after sometimes I have feeling like my legs are burning they are so irritated and itchy I hate it. But wait when I apply Coco Noir body cream no burning I was like wuuuuuut? My skin is silky smooth ,and I smell amazing win win combination. Also if you don t like Coco Noir CHANEL also has body cream in Coco Mademoiselle, and CHANEL No 5.
And now burning question would I recommend this? Hmmm here it is. Ofc I would, but not because it s CHANNEL only because it good product. But everyone is in different situation, and yes its too much money to give for the body cream even 50 euros its too much for a cream. You dont need to buy this your life doesn't depend on it. But f you like CHANEL if you are dedicated to brand go for it save money and buy it. This is luxury which means you don't need to buy if you don t want. Would I buy it again? Yes but Different scent probably Coco Mademoiselle.
And that's all for today's post cuties. I hope you enjoyed leave a comment , and tell me your favourite body cream?
